Approximate location where biker was shot

A group of four 574 Cycling women were shot at in Edwardsburg Thursday evening, according to the cycling club’s Facebook page.  The assault was made with a BB/pellet gun; one cyclist was hit and bruised. This happened around 7:30pm near May and Sherman. The man who shot the  dark colored hand-gun was a passenger in a small, royal blue car, possibly a Ford Focus. Anyone with information about this or any other acts of agression towards cyclists, please call the Edwardsburg police department at 269-663-8444.

  1. Bethany Cockburn has added some details on the 574 Cycling Facebook page.

“A very reliable source said the the driver of the car, which has been identified as being a royal blue Chevy Cobalt, is a male student at Edwardsburg High School (as of last week). The second young man who shot at our cyclists is also a student at Edwardsburg High School and has told friends about his new BB gun.”

Anyone with information about this is asked to call the Edwardsburg police department at 269-663-8444.

  2. If this happens again, could a group turn around, outnumber and confront the moron, and call the cops?
