This weekend’s weather looks ripe for the last of the maple syrup fests, a wild bike race on Cass County’s dirt roads and other outdoorsy ways to give Spring a nice big bear hug. The new season begins Sunday.
The forecast looks like it could be dry. Temperatures might dip to freezing at night.
That’s good for the Melting Mann bike race on Sunday, where 90 percent of the route is on dirt roads. In its third year, bikers have a chance to stay dry, unlike the last two years where they coped with slippery ice and snow.
