We recently found that the Leeper Avenue viaduct (just east of the one over Michigan St), which had been closed because of unsafe decking, was open. A sign at the entry indicated that the current decking is temporary and "uneven," but we found it quite smooth.

I will have to check this out, is the plan to add another layer of concrete?
