Happy New Year, cyclists! The Michiana Bicycle Association kicked off the new year with its fifteenth annual Polar Bear Ride. Riders booked their first ride of the year, choosing options between four and thirty-two miles from the Martin's Supermarket in Granger. With temperatures in the low 30s, the start was a bit nippy, but climbing a few rollers got the blood flowing and the roads were clear and mostly dry. Everyone is welcome to ride with MBA, which schedules rides throughout the year.
